About

“I’ve learned that you shouldn’t go through life with a catcher’s mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back.”
~Maya Angelou

My name is Nick. I am a recent graduate from Webster University in St. Louis with my degree in Public Relations, specializing in event planning. I am continuing my education back at Webster University, seeking my M.A. in Communications Management, while working as the Campus Visit Coordinator in the Office of Admission.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing kickball, cooking, discovering new music and old TV shows and, most importantly, writing.

The above quote by Maya Angelou pretty much perfectly describes my outlook on life. I am a giver, a lover, someone who is always more willing to give before receiving. I base my life on the philosophy of karma, knowing that the more I give of myself, the more personal redemption I will receive through the rest of my life.

“Been There, Dunne That” is my medium in which I share my perspectives on living. I see lessons in every environment and situation that I know someone somewhere can learn and appreciate. I don’t expect everyone to agree with me; in fact, I expect just the opposite. Either way, it is my hope that my perspective is one that will help everyone love and appreciate the obstacles in their life, and help generate the good karma that is essential for a healthy, happy life.

Enjoy.
